pbpbb archive for search engines Remote File Include Vulnerability

pbpbb archive for search engines is prone to a remote file-include vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the webserver process. This may facilitate unauthorized access; other attacks are also possible.

Mitigation:

Input validation should be used to prevent the exploitation of this vulnerability. It is possible to filter out dangerous characters and to limit the size of the input fields.
