microBlog SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

microBlog is prone to multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities due to a failure in the application to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in SQL queries. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted URL to the application, which can result in a compromise of the application, disclosure or modification of data, or may permit an attacker to exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.

Mitigation:

Input validation should be used to ensure that untrusted data is not used to construct SQL queries in a way that would allow an attacker to modify the logic of the executed query.
