My Little Weblog Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

My Little Weblog is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to the 'action' parameter of the 'weblog.php' script. An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.

Mitigation:

Input validation should be used to ensure that user-supplied data is properly sanitized.
