Joomla Component Online Exam Local File Inclusion Vulnerability

A Local File Inclusion (LFI) vulnerability exists in the com_onlineexam version 1.5.0 component for Joomla. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to the vulnerable server. This request contains a maliciously crafted parameter which can be used to include arbitrary files from the server. This can be used to gain access to sensitive information such as configuration files, source code, etc.

Mitigation:

The vendor has released a patch to address this vulnerability. It is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of the component.
