osCMax Multiple SQL-Injection and Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
osCMax is prone to multiple SQL-injection vulnerabilities and multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input. Exploiting these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.
Mitigation:
Input validation should be used to ensure that untrusted data is not used to generate SQL queries that could be exploited. Additionally, applications should use an API that allows access to the underlying database but does not allow the execution of arbitrary SQL queries.
