Easy Flash Uploader Component for Joomla! Arbitrary File Upload Vulnerability

The Easy Flash Uploader component for Joomla! is prone to a vulnerability that lets attackers upload arbitrary files because the application fails to adequately sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to upload arbitrary code and run it in the context of the web server process. The exploit code provided uses cURL to send a POST request to the vulnerable server with the malicious file attached.

Mitigation:

Ensure that user-supplied input is properly sanitized before being used in the application.
