Spider Video Player plugin for WordPress SQL-injection Vulnerability
Spider Video Player plugin for WordPress is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data before using it in an SQL query. Exploiting this issue could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a malicious SQL query to the vulnerable script.
Mitigation:
Input validation should be used to prevent SQL injection attacks. Additionally, the application should use parameterized queries to prevent SQL injection attacks.
