The JoomlaFacebook component (‘com_facebook’) for Joomla! is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability

The JoomlaFacebook component ('com_facebook') for Joomla! is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data before using it in an SQL query. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious URL and sending it to a victim. The URL contains a malicious SQL query that can be used to access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

Mitigation:

Ensure that user-supplied data is properly sanitized before being used in an SQL query.
