Apache Shiro Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Apache Shiro is prone to a directory-traversal vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input. Exploiting this issue may allow an attacker to obtain sensitive information that could aid in further attacks.

Mitigation:

To mitigate this vulnerability, it is recommended to update to a patched version of Apache Shiro. Additionally, input validation and sanitization should be implemented to prevent directory-traversal attacks.
