Backup Key Recovery 2.2.5 – ‘Name’ Denial of Service (PoC)

Backup Key Recovery 2.2.5 is vulnerable to a denial of service attack when a malicious user sends a large amount of characters in the 'Name' field. This causes the application to crash.

Mitigation:

Users should ensure that they are running the latest version of Backup Key Recovery and should not enter any malicious input into the 'Name' field.
