Apache MyFaces is prone to a remote information-disclosure vulnerability. Remote attackers can exploit this issue to obtain sensitive information that may aid in further attacks. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to the vulnerable server, such as http://www.example.com/faces/javax.faces.resource/web.xml?ln=../WEB-INF or http://www.example.com/faces/javax.faces.resource/web.xml?ln=..WEB-INF.

Mitigation:

Upgrade to Apache MyFaces version 2.0.12 or later, or 2.1.6 or later.
