APD Remote SQL Injection
Astanda Directory Project (APD) is prone to a remote SQL injection vulnerability. This issue is due to a failure in the application to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in an SQL query. An attacker can exploit this issue to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. This may allow the attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.
Mitigation:
Input validation should be used to ensure that untrusted data is not used to construct SQL queries in a way that would allow an attacker to modify the logic of the executed query.
