Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in EveryAuction

EveryAuction is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input.An attacker may leverage this issue to run arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

Mitigation:

To mitigate this vulnerability, it is recommended to properly sanitize and validate user-supplied input before using it in dynamically generated web pages or queries.
