DMXReady Blog Manager Cross-Site Scripting and SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

DMXReady Blog Manager is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability and an SQL-injection vulnerability because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input. Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

Mitigation:

Input validation should be used to ensure that untrusted data is not used to execute unintended commands or queries. It is also recommended to use a whitelist of acceptable inputs that strictly conform to specifications.
