Elxis Directory Traversal Vulnerability
Elxis is prone to a directory-traversal vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input data. Exploiting the issue may allow an attacker to obtain sensitive information that could aid in further attacks. An example of the exploit is http://www.example.com/includes/feedcreator.class.php?filename=../../../../../../etc/passwd
Mitigation:
Input validation should be used to prevent directory traversal attacks.
