eXtrovert software Thyme SQL-injection Vulnerability

Thyme is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data before using it in an SQL query. Exploiting this issue could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database. Submit the following to the input field at /thyme/modules/groups/pick_users.php: ' union all select proof,of,concept from mysql.db/*

Mitigation:

Input validation should be used to ensure that user-supplied data is properly sanitized before being used in an SQL query.
