Mini-stream RM-MP3 Converter 3.0.0.7 .ASX File (HREF) Local Buffer Overflow Exploit

This is a buffer overflow exploit for Mini-stream RM-MP3 Converter version 3.0.0.7. It allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code by creating a malicious .ASX file containing a long HREF parameter. The exploit has been tested on Windows XP SP2.

Mitigation:

The vendor has released a patch to address this vulnerability. It is recommended to update to the latest version of Mini-stream RM-MP3 Converter.
