Mobotix IP Camera Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities

The Mobotix IP camera is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. These issues are due to a failure in the device to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker may leverage these issues to have arbitrary script code executed in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

Mitigation:

Input validation should be used to ensure that untrusted data is not used to dynamically generate web content.
