Openfiler Multiple Cross-Site Scripting and Information Disclosure Vulnerabilities
Openfiler is prone to multiple cross-site scripting and information disclosure vulnerabilities. An attacker may leverage these issues to obtain potentially sensitive information and to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.
Mitigation:
Users should avoid following untrusted links and should never enter sensitive information unless they are certain that the destination is legitimate. Additionally, users should keep their system and applications updated with the latest patches.
