PHP Scripts Now Riddles SQL-injection and Cross-site Scripting Vulnerabilities

PHP Scripts Now Riddles is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability and a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data. Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

Mitigation:

Input validation should be used to ensure that untrusted data is not used to execute unintended commands or access data. It is also recommended to use a whitelist of accepted inputs that strictly conform to specifications.
